Hi You All!
I'm a RX4 owner comes from Taiwan.
I've bought my RX4 about Mar,2003, although it's 2002 style.
It's so happy to me find this forum on internet, in Taiwan, there is only one forum for renalut cars and few RX4 owners (maybe less than 150).
Manual gear is the reason makes most people choice other small suvs(CR-V, Escape...etc) .

Actually Uncle Joe is "the legend" to Taiwan RX4 owners.
He is the first who tune up a winch on his car.

I'll try to be "activated"

So let me introduce myself.
In Taiwan , flood caused by typhoon usually happen in summer.
And this is the one of the reasons why I choosed RX4.
Most popular small suv here is CRV,X-TRAIL,and ESCAPE(TRIBUTE),
But, sounds a little crazy, the most important reason (besides the amazing look and style of RX4)is the chair.
4 years ago when I need to buy a new car, I do lots homework to find a car which without LEATHER CHAIR. Because it's very hot in summer Taiwan, Leather chair under sunshine....(especially some plastic leather..... you know what I means) make the hot to burn.
And somehow, I need a safety car because I have to drive to my work, it's about 40KM distance on highway..........
