hey everyone, i need some clues to a fix!

has anybody noticed that at higher speeds on bitumen that a whiring or revolving type sound eminating from the Driving wheels -more toward the rear of the car. is this "Normal" i have RX4 2001 with aprox 82,000 klm travelled with little heavy off :razz: road use.....any ideas would be greatly appreciated.... :razz:

I hear the same thing.Maybe should change oil in gearbox.I want to answer is the liquid in visco-clutch should change If it have to do,after how much kilometres

have changed gerabox oil as the servicing schedule requires. ...to answer your question i believe...i have read some where that the Visco -Clutch oil does not need to be serviced-replaced during the life of the component. .but i have also read in the Australian Froggy Forum(French cars) that a 8O Rear Drive Coupling between the drive shafts(toward the Rear of the car)could need replacement if it appears to be worn,this was replaced after the car had done around 150,000klms. .........
