Hi all,
I have a serious vibration problem in the right front side (passenger) of my RX4, the problem only appears when accelerating and only above 70kmh. As soon as i let go of the accelerator the vibration disappears. I have aligned the wheels and that is not the source of the problem. The vibration is of a slow frequency, something like 2-3 bumps per second and is very noticeable. i also ride a harley and am very familiar with vibrations, the ones i am talking about are not normal...

My mechanic cannot find the source....i use the car to take the kids to school and am very worried about this apparent fault....
Anyone have any experience with this type of problem?

Also have a new hissing sound that seems to come from the hydraulic booster, this sound dissappears when i press the brake pedal and resumes when i let go....scares the shits out of me..

Hi!!

May you can check the ball bearing of the weel, it can cause the vibration. Another possible cause could be the tire, but in this case the vibration used to has a higher frequency.

I hope that you can find the cause and solve it as soon as possible.
